This opportunity given to me represents an excellent start to continue this journey through my personal resources. Two weeks are enough to stimulate you, but it is necessary to commit further to achieve a "decent" knowledge of the language.
Before leaving, I received thorough preparation from Ana Maria Solis. I followed her instructions and guidelines carefully, guiding me through taking the online English test. During my stay in Malta, Ana Maria Solis continued to provide me with support, which helped me not to feel like a fish out of water in the first days, despite my linguistic difficulties making communication not easy.
I undertook this experience and, despite my not-so-young age, I embarked on this study trip to Valletta with a bit of fear and curiosity. The school and teachers, in my opinion, are of excellent quality, both humanly and professionally. Indeed, despite the difficulties I encountered, they never made me feel uncomfortable; on the contrary, they always encouraged me.
I must say that my ability to communicate in English improved significantly in the second week, giving me more confidence to express myself in English even outside the lessons.
Regarding the organization before, during, and after this experience in beautiful Malta, everything was impeccable and perfectly in line with my expectations. In our free time, we had the opportunity to explore and enjoy the wonders of the island. We visited the Three Cities, the port, the Malta Time-Gun Museum, and the churches. With the teacher, we went on out-of-school visits to explore other charming places in Valletta. During this experience, I met new people of various ages and countries and realized that experiences like this unite, breaking down language and age barriers.
I am particularly grateful to Ana Maria Solis for her invaluable support and the opportunity she gave me. Her assistance was crucial in ensuring a smooth and enriching experience.
