Creative and digital skills for artistic facilitators

The Project

This project focuses on addressing the unique educational needs of individuals, with approximately 20% facing economic and social challenges, including disabilities, learning disabilities, and socio-economic-cultural disadvantages. The organization employs art as an innovative language to engage these individuals, but recognizes the need to enhance staff skills, particularly in audiovisual supports, illustrative videos, video art, digital animations, and various visual resources, including artificial intelligence, video mapping, and other ICT competences. The organization aims to combat social exclusion by upskilling and empowering adult individuals and communities through innovative tools and methodologies.

The project highlights the necessity of updating and utilizing digital creativity as a tool for social engagement, cultural participation, and economic development. Additionally, there is a need for support in enhancing English language skills for use in new media art. The organization has embarked on an internationalization process through Erasmus+ projects, emphasizing the importance of knowledge exchange and cultural comparisons. The recent period of forced isolation has reinforced the belief in the need for internationalization.

Staff mobility is deemed essential for staying updated and accessing European initiatives, such as projects connected with the New European Bauhaus, aiming to contribute to the development of enriching, sustainable, and inclusive communities. The project seeks to encourage dialogue across cultures, support individual empowerment, and foster democratic consciousness through cultural education.
